October Support Group News

• The Shelton and the Bremerton groups recently celebrated their one year anniversary. Both thriving with a solid base of widows, a stream of new members, new friendships and on-going healing.

• An elder care attorney, Rick Beihl, recently spoke to the Shelton location group. He is on the Board of the Good Grief Foundation and has assisted dozens of ladies with their wills. And he often refers his clients and their families to Good Grief.

• A Medicare specialist will be a guest speaker at all three locations to assist the ladies with their decisions during open enrollment.

• One of our dearest participants in the Belfair group recently passed from a fatal heart attack. Her family was so grateful for the love and support she received and gave to Good Grief that they requested a celebration of life for one of our meetings. It was an event of love.

• October brings education and discussions on how to deal with the holidays.
