October Foundation News

• Since the foundation was established in 2022, this is the third year we qualify to apply for grants. For the third time, we have submitted a $2500 grant request to the Kitsap Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle of the Kitsap Peninsula. Funding decisions will be made in January 2025, and we are hopeful.

• We will be doing our annual donation request mailing in late September with high hopes of a $10,000 response. All money received is used to assist widows.

• To date this year, we have financially assisted nine widows. The last need was for expenses to move to a more affordable location.
